Create a new project called **Couch Arcade Live** and set up a real game emulator so two people can play together on the shared display using their phones as controllers. Use the paired **Living Room Display** for the game, **Player One Phone** for player 1, and **Player Two Phone** for player 2. Discover those devices and their actual capabilities first. Set up one emulator and one local two-player game; each phone should control its own player in that same running game. Choose a small, freely redistributable game with obvious independent player movement. Prefer a standard offline build of Super Tilt Bro if the selected emulator supports it; explain your choice if another game fits better. Work in this project's own environment and use Dozer's supported presentation and participation tools. Let each device accept its role through the app. Keep the game large and readable on the display, and make the phone controls comfortable in landscape, with a directional pad, clearly labelled action buttons, and a visible player number and connection state. Movement must support holding a direction while pressing an action; releasing a finger must release that input. A disconnected phone must not leave a button stuck, and reconnecting it must restore the same player role. Open each receiver directly in the role Dozer assigns: the display shows the game and each phone shows its own controller. Bind player input to Dozer's trusted participant and role context, rather than a player number supplied by the phone. Verify successful responses before showing connected, and show a useful error when a request fails. Probe one accepted phone's held direction, action and release through the actual display path before extending the setup to both players. Tell me your plan, then carry it out and keep your progress visible here so I can supervise. Get the smallest playable setup working first, then polish the controls. If the display or controller path needs a Dozer capability that is missing, report exactly what you tried and what blocked it before changing the plan. Before calling it ready, test both players independently and together, play an actual round, and exercise one phone disconnect/rejoin. Leave a README with the exact emulator/core/game versions, start/stop commands, control mappings, and test results so I can repeat it. Finish with a clear account of what works, which devices you tested, and any remaining limitation. Stop only the resources this project started when I ask to end the session.
